Ultrasound – as the name suggests – is sound Technology that is used at very high frequency
As you can probably see from the image on the right, Ultrasound can be quite unclear to the untrained eye however in the hands of a trained expert, it is a phenomenal tool in allowing precise treatments for Patients
We pride ourselves in the use of Ultrasound Technology and have found a large amount of success in using US Guided Therapies and Injections for our patients.
For mild to moderate chronic pain Ultrasound has the ability to create a ‘map’ for Clinicians to see the anatomy of your body; and understand what’s really causing your pain.
As with any procedure not everything is applicable to everyone, so it’s always worth speaking to your Clinician and checking if it’s available in their practice.
The effectiveness of a tool is only useful when the one using it is proficient in it.
What we mean is, you need some degree of understanding as to how good your Clinician is at using Ultrasound Guided Therapies; and you can very quickly understand this by asking them how often they’ve used it for patients and how effective they find it!
We are partnered with Providers across the UK who offer Ultrasound Services and Training to Clinicians; wherein also producing general information videos in order to serve the public. We also have recruited in our team of experts Mr Ansar Mahmood who is one of the Nationally Recognised Training Providers of Ultrasound use in Clinical Practice.
You can check out some of our videos and articles which feature some of his very useful tips and information!
Ultrasound is a great tool in our Clinical Arsenal of Treatments however it’s not always suitable for everyone
